Parade Photoshoot Session #113 (07)

‘It’s such hard times right now, people need to escape,” actress Rachel Weisz says. “People have to be able to forget their bank accounts and their worries—all the stress on their minds. They need entertainment.”

Weisz is best known for her serious film roles, including her Oscar-winning turn in 2005’s The Constant Gardener. But her recently released movie The Brothers Bloom is a lighthearted caper. “It’s a big puff pastry,” she says.

But there was a problem: The movie “was not, I believe, something the director and producer were considering me for,” she explains.
